Look at these beauties thriving!
I didn’t grow them.
Yes, I planted them.
Yes, they’re outside my door.
Yes, I tended to them lovingly.
But I didn’t grow them.
They did that on their own.
I just created the right environment and nurtured it purposefully.
And they thrived!
Now ask yourself this:
“How often am I focused on the fruit? On the output?”
If you have the best seeds, but don’t create the environment that’s most condusive to success, they’ll never reach their potential.
(And remember: the best seeds are expensive and hard to come by.)
Leaders don’t lead people.
They lead environments.
