There are some terrible drivers on the roads!
I don’t really blame them though.
I mean, it’s quite a hard skill to do well.
And the only training you get is a couple of instructions and one assessment 25-years ago.
Then you get your certificate and that’s it.
“Now you learn how to really drive”, I remember my mum telling me when I passed my test.
No more training.
No observation.
No updating.
No checking if you know the latest road layouts or rules (pedestrians at a junction have right of way over vehicles as of October last year’s Highway Code update – who knew?)
Just that one bit of training and certification, that one time, ages ago.
No wonder there’s so many fender benders, bumps and near-misses.
Can’t blame the drivers, really…
Anyway.
How’s your AI implementation going?
Still focusing on the tool, what it could do, and how it’ll improve customer experience/efficiency/profits [insert measure here]?
Just the initial training delivered?
Not focusing on the driver’s skills?
Shame…
