It’s NationalChocolateDay and I have a newsflash:
Your partner doesn’t love you because you got them chocolates today.

It’s the cumulative collection of tiny, consistent, authentic things that show that you appreciate them, recognise them, see them, and care about them.
It’s the reassurance that you’ll be there when times are tougher and will be celebrating their successes.
It’s the secret language you share.
It’s how you make each other better together; amplifying each other’s strengths.
It’s that authentic relationship that can feel hard to explain or articulate – but you feel it.
Those small, consistent, authentic things also mean that you’re more likely to be forgiven if something were to go wrong; if you did forget it was National Chocolate Day.
