Who leads when the manager is not in the room?
For decades, we have thought of leadership primarily as a person who gives direction to the team, influences, and holds decision-making power. Such a model worked in hierarchical and fairly predictable organizations. But what happens when the environment becomes too complex and rapidly changing for all the answers to come “from above”?
At the 15th Organizational Psychology Conference, Danny Wareham will present a report: “Who Leads When the Leader Is Not in the Room?”
The presentation will be held in English.
Based on his research, Danny will invite you to rethink the very concept of leadership:
🔎 Can leadership in an organization be ensured not by a specific individual, but by culture, social norms, and inclusion?
🔎Can organizational culture become a source of leadership?
🔎 What role do trust, competence, and psychological safety play in this?
🔎Can a less hierarchical leadership model be more effective under conditions of uncertainty, complexity, and constant change?
Danny Wareham – organizational psychologist, founder and leading psychologist of Firgun Ltd, author of the book “Constellation.” Danny is recognized among the Global Top 10 Thought Leaders on Culture.
See you at the conference!
