It’s the number one question I have in my mind whenever I’m meeting with a client or prospect.
You see, there’s a common misconception about employee engagement and culture.
It’s the belief that employee engagement = fun
It’s a “nice to have”. Something to “put a bit of energy in the place.”
That’s not the case.
Think of engagement as lubricant.
Everything moves a bit more easily when we get it right.
But we need to know where we’re moving 𝘵𝘰.
Otherwise, it’s just a fun, slippery mess.
Engaging our people in our strategy is what Employee Engagement is all about.
It’s a strategic tool.
But you cannot use a strategic tool without a strategy and without knowing where you’re heading.
