It’s how we make sense of information, people and the environment.
That’s not based on objectivity or fact. It’s just our heads using what we’ve experienced to make sense of the now.
If we don’t surround ourselves with people who have different lived experiences (diversity) – or if we don’t allow all to contribute (inclusion) – it’s easy to see how you can inadvertently create a narrow view of the world amongst that group.

The role of any leader is surrounding themselves with diverse people and allowing all to contribute purposefully, without fear of ridicule or reprimand.
